Motorpool Automotive

Motorpool Automotive is top tier! I truly trust these mechanics with my life. Steve and his team completely saved me when my check engine light came on, they diagnosed and fixed the issue incredibly fast. Since then, my car has been driving beautifully. Thank you for all your hard work, honesty, and outstanding service!

Motorpool Automotive in Campbell, CA is hands down one of the most trustworthy mechanic shops I’ve come across. While visiting the area with a car from Arizona, I didn’t know many local mechanics, but these guys quickly earned my trust. I’ve had to bring my car in a couple of times the most recent issue was with the engine not starting. They diagnosed and fixed it promptly, all while keeping me updated about another important repair I needed: my front wheel bearings. I went ahead with that too and the car drives smoother than ever. I’ve already recommended them to several people because I genuinely believe they’re the best in the Bay Area!

These guys are A+. They tell you what’s wrong, what needs to be done, what should be done, and what can wait. Their digital communication is very helpful (they upload photos of what’s broken, what the scanner says, etc) but when you get them on the phone they are happy to explain in further detail if you’re not a “car guy.” No dumb questions, no jargon answers. I’ll pay the little extra in labor rate for their honesty and professionalism every time.

Excellent Service – Honest, Skilled, and Thorough I had a truly great experience with Motorpool Automotive and felt it was worth taking the time to share in detail. From the moment I brought my vehicle in, the team was friendly, professional, and very communicative throughout the entire process. I originally came in needing an engine rebuild and a head gasket replacement—serious work—but they handled it with skill and care. What really stood out was how thorough they were. During the repair process, they discovered my camshaft was broken, which I hadn’t even known about. Rather than ignoring it, they brought it to my attention and explained everything clearly so I understood exactly what n…

I can't recommend Motorpool Automotive enough!! These guys are hands down the best around. They've been working on my vehicles for more than 5 years now. The fact that I drive down from the Santa Cruz Mountains for service should say it all. Reliable, honest, and fair are not normally ways you hear people describe their mechanic and auto service experiences. Every member of the shop has always been more than helpful answering my questions and constantly ensuring quality. Thank you guys for everything you do!
